Our goal is to deliver responsible reductions in emissions over time while continuing to meet our public service obligation. We also work to avoid impacts to nature and minimize waste, and advance lower-impact energy solutions.
Initiatives at Berkshire Gas
Reducing emissions by replacing leak-prone gas main
Replacing aging gas pipelines helps reduce stray emissions, known as fugitive emissions. This helps us manage our impact on the natural world.
Supporting alternative fuel fleet vehicles
We work to help reduce the emissions associated with operating our fleet vehicles by investing in those that run on alternative fuel.
